Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Information and Communication Technology Officer (ICT) Officer, Class-2 Final Result (Advt. No. 31/2021-22). Final Result for the recruitment to the posts of Information and Communication Technology Officer, Class-II, in the General State Service, under the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology and egovernance, Advt. The EWS Category candidate at Merit No. 01 and the SEBC Category candidates at Merit Nos. 02, 03, 07 & 10 (Fem.), are to be
recommended for appointment on unreserved posts as per G.A.D. Circular No. PVS-1099-MM-13-G4, dated 29/01/2000, PVS-2010-
03-900-G4, dated 23/07/2004 and PVS-102019-221-G4, dated 07/02/2019, as they have not availed any relaxation in Cut-off
Marks in Preliminary Test or in age.
The SEBC Category candidate at Merit No. 06, though secured his place in the merit of General Category, however he is to be
recommended for appointment against the post reserved for SEBC Category, as per G.A.D. Circular No. PVS-1099-MM-13-G4, dated
29/01/2000, PVS-2010-03-900-G4, dated 23/07/2004 and PVS-102019-221-G4, dated 07/02/2019, as he has availed the benefit
of relaxation in Cut-Off Marks in the preliminary test.
The required No. of women candidates of General, EWS, S.C. and S.T. categories could not be selected even after relaxing 10 %
Marks from the Cut-off Marks of their respective categories.
The required No. of Persons with Disability could not be selected even after relaxing 10 % Marks from the Cut-off Marks (i.e. 37.08)
of the last Meritorious Candidate (i.e. Merit No. 32) as per the provisions made in Office Order dated 22/09/2021.
In case of equal marks, the merit is assigned taking into consideration the date of birth (i.e. preference is given to the elder).
No Ex-Serviceman candidate was available for the interview.
The Weighted Marks of Preliminary Test & Interview are calculated as follows :-
[Marks obtained in P.T. X 50/300 = Weighted Marks of Preliminary Test] + [Marks obtained in Interview X 50/100 = Weighted Marks of
Interview] = Total Weighted Marks
